hmm.... I am confused then.
oops, I just noticed the pop-in in the video and I thought you meant that... I will look next time i play
i changed the settings, verified the game files and nothing fixed it. so i am guessing it's a bug in the game for sure.
My grass didnt do that in quick play I had. Maybe driver sweep and reinstall GPU driver.
reinstalled driver...no dice.
checked my grass and its fine.
Done a driver clean with DDU?
does it work for DCH driver?
Was kinda keen on this but going to wait it out, by nearly all accounts it's a pretty shocking port. I can kind of work past general poor performance but stuttering/hitching, crashes, grass, sound and model weirding is too much. Been fun watching it all come out over the weekend. Hope Virtuos and Guerilla Games work it out.
as someone who's played and finished both the base game and TFWon PS4 this would be a terrible idea. The Frozen Wilds expects I think it's level 30+. So you'd be in for a bad time going straight there.
look not to poop on ni9ht_5ta1k3r but he does tend to have a lot of issues in pretty much everything he plays. You still on a laptop ni9ht_5ta1k3r ?
Haven't been following the issues just on here, people are experiencing all sorts of whacky stuff lol. Latest one seems to be snow deformation not being present/working on this but it's present on the PS4.
Yeah and a good time to get off DCH.
DDU from guru3d. Uninstall driver. Reboot into safe mode run DDU,reboot and install non DCH.
You do seem to have issues in a lot of games. Hopefully this helps.
If i were you all, and i'm not i played this game three and a half years ago. I'd hold off and wait for a few patches, the game is worth it. You've waited this long, just hang back for some patches.
Exactly what I'm doing. I played maybe 5 hrs on ps4 and couldnt handle janky aim and low fps. No rush.
I tried to installed the standard driver one time and it just failed to install LUL
UPDATE: The hotfix driver seems to have fixed it now
Is it just me or is mouse look feel weird?
Honestly, i switched my settings to medium, and the game doesnt even looks noiceably worse than ultra... even at low it still looks really good. so if you were worried about turning settings down and having it look like shit, there's nothing to worry about here.
it seems like the direction movement is tied in with your mouse aim, and strafing is like an afterthought.
It feels like it take a lot of arm movement just to do pan the camera. I have resorted to using an xbox one controller instead.
Yeah it might have some weird acceleration or x and y don't match but main thing is camera and aim speeds can't be adjusted individually which makes camera super fast for me when I'm happy with aim.
the default mouse sens for x and y are different. I feel like you need to max that shit out to make it feel responsive.
i feel controller is best for this simply the camera speed suits the thumbsticks better, plus the sticks afford you the ability to control walking speed.
