Just share it with us, thanks! ;)

Now... what about a picture of busted Chemicon KZG (known bad cap) in DFI LP B Vcore regulator inputs? :D Cause of death? Fuhjyyu caps in PSU! (Antec NEO 480W PSU) Fuhjyyu ones usualy does not bulge, so you have no idea that things are going wrong... if you don't know that Fuhjyyu caps are inferior crap even between bad caps!
You live nicely and peacefully, till a loud explosion come out of your mobo and your machine fail miserably. Then you check it out and see good Chemicon KZG caps in the Vcore input filters (1500uF 16V ones) entierly destroyed:

And your machine no longer working. That way exactly the wake up call for me, regarding bad caps :( Yea, Chemicon's are supposed to be a good caps (except the KZG, KZJ, TMV, TMZ ones), but even good cap can fail when before him is a BAD CAP in PSU that generate excessive ripple...

uhh.... you should get them recapped. if you're near me i'll do it for you for the price of the caps and a bottle of vodka. I can source a lot of super low ESR caps in rare/hard to find sizes without much problem. What area are you in? Ask me for a quote if you're interested. Try to list the number and sizes of caps on the board, as well as the brands. extra points for photos (side on). I'm not real keen on postal jobs because i don't have a collection of CPUs to test boards with. Hopefully i can remedy this soon.

also www.badcaps.net forums has a lot of good info & pics.

    Thats the best.

I cant believe they put a cover around a cap, and times its rating by 3.

    Ha... crazy.

These caps look kind of gross, kind of like a pod that has spewed it's innards.

one must point out that they migrated not due to the explosion; but because the melting point of the solder was exceeded while it was running :)

i was going to say the exact same thing, atleast its a rubycon cap

alot of this bad cap stuff started to happen when one cap company stole designs off of another cap company and worked out that manufacturing costs were cheaper.
what this company that stole the designs didnt realise is that there were a couple of ingredients in thenm that they didnt know about and well they sold SHIT loads of these caps everywhere and yeah they didnt last long

i think thats when ABIT was starting to advertise that they used rubycon caps soon after all this happened

I had two Abit KT7-RAID's die on me because of bad caps. When the 2nd one died (which was the replacement), I recapped the board. On a positive note, the board is still working.
