    Well, as the other thread is quite large, and the new Gen8s are quite different, i figured a new thread would be the way to go. I think a similar style to the other with information would be good.

    The most thing you need to do for all of us is find out how many 3.5" HDD can fit inside.

    That is if he got the higher end model and not the celeron model.

    I would never buy a celeron model, my as well buy another atom if i wanted to save cost

    I plan on buying the celeron model in the next couple of months and replacing the processor with a low power xeon processor instead, and obviously stick as much ram as I can squeeze into it as well

    I am guessing its like the ex490

    You have to pull up and remove the backplane to facilitate motherboard removal...

    Eg backplane, inserts at 90degrees into the motherboard


    Scratch that... I see a SFF-8087 connection on the motherboard....
