Bummer! I always seem to be a day late to the party.

Anyone got an extra they don't need?

I got a 32gb one for $148, don't really like it, who wants it for $120?

LOL JUST KIDDING. MY TOUCHPAD :D

To be honest though, WebOS gets pretty laggy. And its the biggest fingerprint magnet ever! Definitely not worth the original price, but $150 is definitely a bargain.

    Tell me about it :upset:

Here I was all chuffed when when I scored a HP micro server when they first went on sale for $170. This deal craps all over that. Especially considering I'd get quite allot of use out of a Tab while the Micro Server is still in it's box.

Ah well. You win some, you lose some...

    Edit:

    $120 inc post plz. kthxbye

i think its quite sad they pulled the pin like this.

the interface looks quite nice. its an attractive tablet, and i am sure there was potential

and its sad (and ironic) to see the nice billboards and advertising boards in the city. (listed for $599RRP (at harvey norman))

its going to gut you even more when you read about how only in the past few hours, a good dozen more people have managed to score orders for some direct form hp.

I was able to grab a 32GB one yesterday, was sitting outside a Harvey Norman @ 2pm surfing the news sites and saw the article  It was destiny

Kind of kicking myself i didn't grab two (Work mate was with me and had no interest in getting one for himself, but i could have kept and given it as a nice cheap gift)

Ah well i guess i should be extremely happy, scored both HP deals with minimal fuss :D

This does not imply that there won't be any here in the future.

$99AU is worth more than $99US, and Australian consumers are used to paying more than everyone else for the same thing (see Apple, Dell, HP when they're not having a sale, etc). They'd probably sell very well for $200+ here. Probably wishful thinking anyway. Luckily I have a relative in the US who can pick it up.
