Unbranded phones also getting the update. I was already on a 6.09.401.11 ROM which includes the fix.

Pretty pissweak imo. If I didn't reflash my phone I would have gone a week without the ability to make calls with no contact from them to let me know what was going on.

Is there any real benefits in any more updates on the M7?

Lollipop is coming in a couple months. This may or may not be a good thing. There are cosmetic changes throughout Android, but who knows how much that's relevant to Sense. I think the commitment to releasing it within 90 days of Google's release might mean there's less customisation and closer to stock.

    updated from 4.3

Now it's a laggy POS, that (temp) freezes all the time, and seems to crash app's twice as much.

..with no obvious benefits over the old version, bar maybe better battery life / more linear in the lower end.

    So happy!

-Edit, oh and after updating, it automatically went and updated all my apps in the backround.. half of which are hellish (like tapatalk) so I have to try to roll them back

    So mad!

Top panel peeling? You mean the speaker grill is coming off?

I went to the Telstra shop and they said it was a 6 week turnaround. Doesn't really bother me.

I've noticed battery life is not so flash recently, also the back of the phone gets quite hot. Not sure if it's worth a visit to repairer.
