they're probably having trouble deciding which features to fuck around with the most.
or run custom software and run 4.4.4 for ages already ?
can't be bothered fucking around with phones.
4.4.4 is finally available for telstra users today.
4.4.4 has a major bug with data connection dying so I would wait until this gets sorted. I am losing data connection at least 4 times a day and having to restart phone.
can't say i've noticed that yet, but i've mostly been around wifi today.
i'll find out on monday when i go back to work.
Just got that update. Pretty slow.
Hi guys, I have the One Mini as a work phone and I'm missing a lot of calls due to the phone ringing once and muting in my pocket. I'm pretty sure it's the 'flip to mute' feature kicking in. Is there a way to disable this? The link below seems to indicate that I can't.
no bug 'ere.
try a factory reset.
Gee I wish you could get rid of "superfluous crap".
Zoe - I don't need it, go away.
Kids Mode - ditto.
Hangouts - ditto.
and so on.
Lollipop has started rolling out to Dev and unlocked devices in the US. Some custom ROMs now also updated to Android 5 Lollipop. No massive changes. We'll see those when the 9 is released with Sense 7.
Settings > Sound > there's an option in there for it.
Thanks for that, but unfortunately there is no option to turn it off. I only have 'mute once' and 'mute always'. The phone stops vibrating as well, so if I'm walking when I get a call and I miss the half second ring before it mutes I have no chance of knowing there is a call.
Lollipop 5.0 OTA update popped up on my unbranded M8 this morning.
/me checks Telstra device
nope nothing 'ere yet
same here, i doubt telstra will be quick to release it.
Going from 4.4.4 to 5.0.1 was a lot simpler than I expected.
Received notice for Lollipop some days ago. Upgraded last night. Snappier (from perhaps a little sluggish before). Fresher looking, minor updates to interface, especially last used apps.
Guys, can you do me a favour?
How large is your main folder?
Thought you guys might like to hear my brother-in-law's story of being driven along the freeway at 90km/h, holding his M8 out the window to snap a photo of something and the wind caught it. It flew backwards and landed on the road. A scratch (well maybe a dent) on the corner and a light scuff mark or two on the rear case is the only damage sustained!
If anyone wants to protect it even more the Orzly Tempered Glass Screen Protectors are brilliant for them.
When moving heaved a computer onto my leg without realising phone was in pocket.
Screen protector shattered but saved my screen scratching or breaking.
