HTC One X is 3G and has Tegra 3
HTC One XL is LTE or 4G and has dual core Snapdragon CPU
Is it literally just the 4g version of the X with a different cpu? Or is it meant to be a completely different phone? Yeah it pretty much is.
Physical dimensions and screen size are identical, xl is 1gram lighter.
tis the same phone save for the different chipset (and less internal memory in the AT&T version)
Starting a new thread for it now since it's got different guts, it could get confusing.
Oh right, it's the XL that supports 4G.
wonder why no support for the X?
Ok, got a One XL thread posted: http://forums.overclockers.com.au/showthread.php?t=1033357

cheers for that
the One X doesn't have NFC either, last time i checked? XL does.
What are people going to get a quad core for if the "benchmarks" state similar results with the dual core and most likely less battery use
One X does have NFC.
Hurling abuse? Hardly.
Just pointing out how ridiculous you are for coming across like your life may end if you can't watch 16 seasons of tv because you're away from your PC for 8 hours.
I'd hate to see how you got on without a phone/PC for a week.
Because the Tegra 3 is faster and has better 3D performance, not to mention the Tegra enhanced games from nVidia.
I am getting 12 hours from my One X which is fine by me, very similar my old iPhone 4 to be honest.
It does have NFC
My bad, i didn't see that in the specs when I first looked at it
so can anyone tell me if the one x can record radio? i know it can not stock but can it rooted?
Hey mate, just wanted to know what your battery life is like at the moment.
I have a One X as well at based on track record in the battery monitor, my phone would last less than 3hr hours if I game full on. Just wondering whether that's also the case for you.
Gaming with screen on would drain the battery in about 3-4 hours....
Solid 3-4 hours you mean?
Just buy an extended bat.... oh.
Just wondering, apart from it being turned on in standby, what else happened during the 15hrs?
I can back that up, I have been getting 12 hours every day with quite a bit of use. Just no 3D intensive games...
I just got one of these yesterday, but in their infinite wisdom, Optus sent me the phone but not the micro sim needed to work it lol. Great looking device, I was originally thinking of the S3 but I have never had a HTC phone and thought I would try it out.
