For all the pro's HTC can't for the life of them keep leaks from happening about their phones. Here is some more info on the Pyramid as it was known (now the Sensation).

My next phone or that or Motorola Atrix. Not so sure about the Motorola though. Locked bootloader is not good for cyanogenmod.

That thing's going to have some serious Joseph Fritzl levels of abuse on the battery.

looks like half my post disappeared.

if this comes out at a reasonable price or drops to one soon after (like the desire HD did) this will definitely be my next phone.

i just wish HTC would put some serious inbuilt memory in this phone. 4gb inbuilt is not enough...my galaxy S has 16gb inbuilt, plus a 16gb microSD card is not something i can go backwards from (and i have a problem with spending $80 on a 32gb microSD card).

I have a feeling that the dual core 1.2ghz snap draggon would be absolutly blown out of the water by Dual core 1-1.2ghz Nvidia Tegra 2 processors (as in the new Samsung galaxy 2(rumored)) especially in 3d applications.

Apart from that looks like a decent upgrade to my current hd2 (the hd7 imo was not an upgrade)

the inbuilt memory is an issue

No doubt. Plus i tend to ignore any details about battery life from HTC. My HD7 shows 12 days of standby on GSM, and i'd be lucky to get even half of that...lets not even to go into power when it's in 3G/HSPA mode :) 2 days with stuff all use.

how hard can it be ffs!

it be ok if all teh apps would go to SD card but they dont!
hell the 128mb on mu desire sucks! and o dont want a SGS

In the original leak they wrote it as 4GB http://www.engadget.com/2011/04/12/htc-sensation-leaked-by-vodafone-4-3-inch-qhd-slcd-and-1-2ghz-d/

But the official post only shows 1GB internal and 8GB via an included memory card: http://www.engadget.com/2011/04/12/htc-sensation-4g-official-1-2ghz-dual-core-qhd-display-and-th/

    im torn on this.

I love the desire S, feels great, but was too small for me..the galaxy S2 had the best screen..but the whole thing is a flimsy plastic mess...but its got tons of storage and ram...the sensation has a nice curved screen and htc sense...

    hmmm

Well given that the Desire S is just a small version of the Desire HD, why not get that? Overclocked at 1.5ghz im sure it will give these dual cores a run for their money (When using one core...)

So it's pretty much a dual-core Desire HD with newer software. Maybe this phone is the reason HTC still haven't released gingerbread for the DHD.

Possibly, HTC actually make more money than Nokia now. So they are really keen on pushing new phones and not focus too much on the old ones.
