have a read of the book 'Fast Food Nation', which is nothing to do with the film, and you'll never eat another maccas again.

Be careful, in almost every aspect of hospitality/food industry there's a story like that (from the lowly tomato sauce right through).

1x pre-made greek/garden salad from woolies + 1 can of tuna in olive oil.
Rip open lid, pour over salad.. Toss through

Costs less then a Big mac meal, quicker to make (or wait in line for order), tastes better, doesnt give me the shits the next day or ooze through my skin.

My favourite fast food is KFC. I won't eat McDonalds. It's not fit for a dog.

I actually don't mind McDonalds that much. Every time I go in I ask for a seared chicken deluxe burger (no bacon) and water. Healthiest, highest protein meal you can get there (protein is especially important if you're bodybuilding and you need food such as myself - rather skip a workout than a meal).

Maybe it's my limited experience with McDonald's food showing through. I've only tasted their chicken nuggets and they taste like shit and their hamburgers don't taste like real meat.

I don't eat any fast food :/ duno why i just don't like it. If i'm desperate i'll grab a "subway" with the roast chicken, lettuce, cheese, carrot, salt + pepper with a Milk :)

otherwise it's all home cooked :)

Almost have the perfectly formulaic McDonalds thread:

    - OP complains about quality of Maccas
    - The concept of inflation is lost on at least one person
    - Two or more people suggest bulk home cooked food as an alternative, obviously completely missing the point of a burger joint
    - Subway comparison

Disappointed to see that we havent had a powerlifter swing past and list the standard $45 order he gets at maccas - 2 big macs for entre and a few double qtr pounders for mains.

Or, more generally, if you wish to develop an unhealthy hatred for the corn industry.

I have a pretty big appetite (eat like a horse to build muscle) and usually one is big enough for me if I'm not feeling too hungry to get me by until I get home or whatever. If i'm really hungry and I can't see myself eating in a long time i'd probably have two. They're actually quite good. They even come with real, fresh, tomato and lettuce. It's like the only thing I eat there.

Sure am. Just polished off 5 scrambled eggs on toast. French toast, I might have to try that one.

Anyway, we should probably keep on topic :p
