Definitely a lian li, very similar to mine

That really is Gigabytes nicest looking board, they should stick with that colour scheme.

Thanks guys I did put a bit of effort in making it clean, I will change a few things as soon as I get the extra parts I'll update the pic when I'm done should be early next week.

btw it is a Lian-li case, the new 2010B model I love that case.

Don't know if you guys can help me but I'm actually having some troubles with the bottom Sata ports.

in my own words - With the GA-EX58 we have 10 sata ports, which I thought would work as normal sata ports. I narrowed it down to the 2nd sata chip of the board (assuming), in this case the white sata ports [IMG]

I originally left the two bottom white ports free for future drives, but when booting up only one of the white ports would pick up the drive. I tested each white port individually, they all work fine. But when I put two connection right next to each other wether it's the 1st row or 2nd row, only one of these ports will work.

So in the end I put 1 sata connection to each row so I could see all my drives. So far thats the only problems i've come across.

Quoting someone else on a customer review -

I had issues when using the white SATA connections when I just wanted to hookup drives and not use the RAID features. I had 3 160G old SATA drives all hooked into the white ports, and only 2 were be visible. This might be by design, I'm not sure. It seems that only 1 drive can be visible per pair of white SATA ports...not a problem when using RAID features on these ports, could be if you just want 10 independant SATA ports.

I've done a fair deal of research and I haven't found anything really, was wondering if you guys knew anything about it. Or any thoughts into the subject.

    Cheers.

    Mero

Nice work guys , but is there a technical reason why alot of guys seem to be using 1kw power supplies ? Or are they left overs from previous builds ? I guess more is better than less.

    :D
