I was able to take 3 weeks of annual leave before my exams to travel far out to Iceland and the UK for a much needed holiday. Amazing landscape, high costs of living, long roads and ice made it every interesting A lot of these photos don't do the places justice. Iceland is just a breathtaking place to be for landscape! Awesome Robert. Looks like a fantastic trip, I was hoping to go whilst in the UK in June but didnt quite get there. All in good time, I think Norway is high on the list to adventure as well!

Colour actually doesn't look that much different from black and white. It's all just a hue of blue because of the snow! Not too far from beaten track. Just in snow it's slightly harder to move around even with crampons. Funny watching people slide around though in sports shoes. This was all in early spring, so the snow is still very present, as is the freezing temperatures and 140kph winds
Where are shots 1 & 2 taken ? I went to Iceland in 2008, and recognize the locations for most of your photos, except the first two. Definitely want to go back with a better camera next time.
