If you've picked up a bargain and want to let people know please post about it here rather than make a new thread.

    salesman stuff = bargain!

oh it was meant to read stuff up ooooppss. (was a bit excited lol.)

Well i went and got my 70-200mm F4L out of the mail. (Thanks ERF)

Anyway the real win of the day, I decided to have a look at the Goodguys.

me: how much for the BG-E3.
salesman: $75 but i will give it to you for $65 cash.
me: alright i will take it (trying to keep a straight face).
me: pay for it, get to door walk quickly to car & take off. :D

I am assuming that the guy gave me the cash back price without realizing it. Oh dear poor chap.

Canon RRP is $269 but can be had in australian shops for $220-240. eBay ~$200 delivered.

Reminds me of the story of the guy who went to Hardly Normal to buy a stick of RAM and walked out with a box of RAM :)

    Thats what I'm thinking..

Did you pay cash or card? If its card dont be suprised to see full retail price charged to it.

It surely could not be legal to double tap a credit card if you got given an incorrect price.

    Hey.

Don't know if this thread gets used any more, of if this is a _real bargain_, but it kept me happy.

cameras.net.au have Australian Nikon 55-200 VR lenses for $250 inc. 2 years warranty!
