Well at least my local one does. $2.50 a can or $24 a slab of 12 cans.

They have A&W Rootbeer, Dr Pepper, Cherry Coke, Welch's Grape Soda, Welch's Strawberry Soda.

Much like Poptarts, I thought these disappeared to only import and candy stores (eg. Sugar Fix).

Thing with IGA is due to them being independent they can choose which lines they carry so hopefully most will carry the US softies. Price ain't that bad to be honest as I'm not in capital city so I'd have to get a slab posted which ain't cheap!

I don't imagine it's to cheap to import that sorta stuff, probably cheaper to get cocaine into the country.(not that I would know)

My local IGA has Dr Pepper on special for $1.99 a can, it's usually about $2.30 I think. They had some 500 or 600ml bottles of it a while back too for close to $3 I think.

The cans are kinda expensive but what can you do when most people just don't know a good drink when they see one. I wish they still sold it in Australia ie. not imported.

If anyone's looking for a decent price then check out USA Foods, they have a special on at the moment: http://www.usafoods.com.au/p4838/dr-pepper/ $59.95 for 48 cans delivered.

I just put an order in before I read this thread in fact. My mate bought me some from a cash and carry place a while ago, one of the IGA distributors I'm pretty sure, for a bit more than $30 for a 24 can slab I think.

dr. pepper and cherry cokes are the bomb!

i guess it was payback for the US not liking Vegemite! (i believe it was banned for certain level of iron or something)

I love that these drinks have started popping up in more and more places. I love my dr pepper and I'm finding it everywhere these days.

It's $2 a can though at the tobacconist near work. They also have things like cherry coke, strawberry (awesome!), grape and pineapple fanta. Good stuff

i've seen asian grocery shops sell welch's grape (both white (really green) and purple) so i am not sure if it's US or Korean (probably cos i've seen cans with korean printing on it for nutritional stats).

    Not everyone is an alcoholic.

I'd much prefer softdrink/milkshakes as a casual drink any time.
