AsRock Z490 were shit according to Gamers Nexus too, that's why I said,
Anyway, I'm convinced that 11th gen's gonna be gg..
i5 11600K will easily surpass 5950X's gaming performance(but gj finally catching up to 9900K) just like 10600K vs 3950X :D

Got new SSD for the 11th gen, 7000MB/s read & 5000MB/s write ftw!

lol.. don't worry i'm just gonna ignore amd fanbois now.. i've provided them with countless irrefutable evidence yet no matter wat i say, i still fail to change their mind or remotely shake their ostentatious self-confidence in their erroneous views.. it’s hard to win an argument with a genius, but it's impossible to win an argument with idiots.

    Everyone.

We know AMD make some nice processors, perhaps if I ever felt the need to upgrade from dual X5675's I'd even consider getting one for the first time ever. But this is an Intel forum, lets keep discussion on track based around Intel hardware. For those in Victoria such as myself, stay safe during this brief lockdown.

I agree that AMD make good video editing processors, I even asked Spit & Zarok about 5950X stability issues few weeks ago cos i'll probably do some video editing soon..
But decide to stick with Intel(11900K) cos I:
    - want 100% stability & 10900K/11900K is already fast enough since i'm only gonna render 1080p videos.
    - rather wait extra min for videos to render(it's not like i have to sit and watch % go up) and get extra 15-20 fps in all games to get the most out of the gpu.

Wait til we get proper reviews from reputable sites like LinusTech, Gamers Nexus etc. We don't even have ETA on 11th gen Intel desktop yet, so there's absolutely no reason to take the "review(?)" from the dodgy unreliable site seriously.
Intel(worth 250+Bil) is a top 5 technology Fortune companies and way ahead of AMD, obviously they are not gonna make new 11900K slower than the previous 10700K like that fake review suggest.

I can't see it being slower than previous gen either. I have a z490 board with 10700k waiting to drop an 11900k into it.

Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Master looks good, 10GbE Lan and stronger VRM than MSI Z590 Ace.

But 10GbE Lan is probably useless for most people and VRM on MSI Z590 Gaming Carbon/Force is already good enough.

Any new info when the CPUs will drop? If boards are hitting stores it would indicate within a month?

Techbuy already had prices listed on early Feb.

There's still no official release date for the 11th gen Intel desktop just yet but hopefully we can buy them early next month.. n should offer significant performance boost if you have 3080/3090 cards.

Even the low TDP version(i9 11900T) and non-K i7 version(i7 11700) can easily beat 5950X on Geekbench single-core.. so 11700K/11900K's gonna be a Pro Gamer CPU even without any overclock, gg

    (sayonara AMD Crapzen)

11th gen will offer double digit IPC increase according to Intel.
(but if you want to believe 11900K's gonna be slower than 10700K/9900K like the delusional AMD fanbois that's up to you)
