Yeah, I was thinking of that but cbfd looking it up.

Time for that to go mainstream. Bolt the mobo +cpu to the heatsink instead of having a 50 tonne megastructure hanging from the poor pcb.

Why not leave him be until he decides to come back ?
Easy to pick on someone when they are not here to answer back

Looks like 11th Gen is a steaming pile of do do....... The idea of back porting a design that wasn't meant for a 14nm process wasn't so smart after all.

In between lack of production capacity and demand for PS5 / Xbox, I can't really see that happening.

Choice these days seems to be waiting for unicorns or getting chlamydia

it's the end of days! this is how it starts. the end of civilization as we know it, with supply shortages.

In all seriousness, is this the wall for intels 14 nm +++++++++++++++?
It seems the heat produced is exponential and its performance is going nowhere.

    Ah damn. RIP.

I recently found out a mate passed. I texted him and got a reply, apparently from his brother.

It was never meant to be 14nm which is the issue. They'd been milking and pretty much maxed 14nm for a while now.
