Very nice. 1K price tag?
If this is cheaper then apex I would consider it, I really do like gigabyte boards just not used one for quite some time
I don't know it mate, may be $500 aud ...
It should be cheaper than Apex... if they compromise in bios feature and not to much waste in pointless vrm. Expect 5g + on memory oc with these
yeah that would be nice if that cheap, I guess time will tell hey
Even if the Giga board was that cheap still not sure if I'd buy it. Apex is so good

Haven't seen Z590 Apex yet, but Z590 Dark looks really cool.
I'd pick Z590 Dark over Apex just for the looks if I was going for hardcore oc board, and looks like it's gonna be available at the 11th gen launch.
Maximus Apex is fantastic because it ticks all boxes but only issue is it's always a limited production run item especially in Australia.
There are other good boards as well but Apex is the true gem. I just wish Asus didn't put the damn caps so close to socket.
"Asus and MSI reveal their price lists for Rocket Lake Z590 motherboards ranging from €185 (US$224) all the way up to €1,516 (US$1,838)"
$2386 aud for top end! Prices getting up theres these days for gpus etc etc...
Think I will skip this gen or wait till some of you get bored of these new parts and sell in the sale section lol
lol I'm too cheap to buy expensive boards unless I can get used one from Scum/Spit..
But prices on MSI Z590 Gaming Carbon and Unify aren't bad.. US$324 & US$389, and Z590 Tomahawk is US$239. (& AU currency is still high atm , US$0.77)
...i like to see the latest. seeing the apex as it were of intel's 14nm and ddr4 speeds right now.
...so blabla let's see what she's got. power hungry and not run on unicorn farts like amd, who are ahead aren't they?
not sure how/what/when/etc exactly the 12th gen will be delivered, and as the new process node, arch, new ddr5 spec etc. might be a few teething probs.
intel still using the ring-bus thing?
and significant ipc boost over 10th gen ...ive heard around 20% ???
i dun think they are getting high clocking yields from their 10nm process....
and their next gen (12th) will be a hotchpotch of different process nodes...?
RRP(US$) for new 11th gen is out..
The price difference between the 11900K and 11700K is ~US$150.. (US$604 vs US$455)

Finally Intel are pulling their finger out. I'm looking forward to 13th gen if this path works out... 11th to see if the architecture is actually decent, 12th for process change to 10nm with increased clockspeeds then 13th for the tock and more refinement. Fingers crossed I guess.
12th gen will be silkk. 16 core mainstream Intel.
I'd take these with a grain of salt till the real cpus/reviews come out but 11900k not sounding that amazing. Slower in gaming than 10900K.
Might just be holding onto my 10900KF lol. Wait for 12th gen / Apex XIV....^^
Still rather keep few good 10gen i9 before switching to 11gen. I think it may gonna be a +2 fps processor..
And let's NOT call it an upgrade from 10 cores to --> 8
