    Thanks for your reply Billy, unfortunately it has come a bit late for me as I sold my 9800x to Nytestryke today morning as I needed some urgent cash, but looking at the bios settings, those were some very nice numbers.

    Look @ the voltages matey ... just like a good 7700K. Meaning the new 9 series has OC headroom if you have the cooling

    edit. Ah yes ... hwbot detected as the older cpu.

    Athough that could be mobo makers trying it on like they have with X570 boards

    Maybe you're thinking of x99, coz the x299 that on that board was released in June 2017, which makes two & a bit years by my counting...
