Interesting bokeh manipulation method, DIY project

    Came across this when surfing the web, looked kinda cool

    you could probably try more complex patterns and see what effect it has

    enjoy

    I've seen this done, and thought it was cool, if not a bit tacky.

    I was thinking it could work with a filter system, like the Cokin one, and you could drop in sheets as required?

    Saw this earlier, looks pretty neat.

    Some of the comments are good.

    If you looked at the article you'd know the answer to that.

    Besides which, I'm sure people have been trying different shaped aperture blades and effects like this since not long after small/portable cameras were popular last century.

    Doesn't mean everyone here has seen it or tried it.
