Saw this on Slashdot. Pretty cool, but I don't quite get where the archive stands from a copyright point of view- a lot of the games are still being sold on Steam, GOG etc.

Interesting that they haven't run into any legal issues. But cool regardless and get in there while it's available I guess :)

The legalities are for The Archive to worry about, just get on and enjoy yourselves.

They have a legal stuff section if that's your big concern - me, I'm just going to play :)

    Wolfenstein anyone?

That's like asking a parent who their favourite child is. No can do. :)

    STUNTS! WOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO

but seriously, this is a good thing; preserving so many games which may otherwise just vanish or not even be known to people. I hope to find some stuff I've never played or heard of.

So much time already wasted on Prince of Persia, partying like it's 1989.

I played a little bit of Prince of Persia last night. Pretty cool how it will even run under Andriod using Chrome. Had it in full screen with a bluetooth keyboard on my Samsung tablet. Unfortunately though it ran worse then it did on my XT all those years ago. :D

    Might try another browser....
