How do I clear my internode emails? I've imported the account to gmail and have been deleting old emails but dunno if that delete it from the internode account. it's via Pop3.

POP3 pulls down the email from ISP/provider storage. It's "quick & dirty", so once you have it loaded the emails to elsewhere, they're removed from the origin location.
Log onto the Internode webmail portal as you do it just to be sure.

Most email clients manage pop3 so you can keep them on the server for up to X days. I use this so my email is stored locally, but can be accessed from multiple machines, and not lose emails on one machine that's been collected on another.
POP3 may be antique, but you get to KEEP your email when you change providers. It's also a lOT quicker to search/index/locate a particular message, as all processing is local, on your own hardware.
Wrap it all in SSL/TLS and it's still encrypted on the 'net.

I use Mailwasher to remove all emails from the server, both pop3 and imap as I do currently have a mixture. Works very well without even touching any email client.
