Deep fusion pretty good in most circumstances. Does seem to mess up on fabric textures sometimes. Deep fusion. Night mode You can see around the logo on the front the blue fabric looks odd and for some reason overly smoothed on the deep fusion.
picked up airpod pros, not sure if i like them. The sound (for music) is definitely better, but i dont like them for calls. The NC is decent, and the size is a lot better
I got a set too. Sound quality isn’t amazing. My power beats pro is better. BUT the combo of being tiny and far more pocketable, still don’t fall out, great ANC and the transparency mode is exactly what I want make them the better overall compromise for me. I really only listen to podcasts anyway. When music listening is needed I use wired headphones anyway. They’re $400
I think for overall integration and no lag, Airpods Pro will be the way to go. If you want better NC and sound quality then I's get the Sony WF-1000XM3.
Back onto topic... I'm following this editorial which is being continually updated; the most recent update being 2 days ago. Apple iOS 13.2 Release: Should You Upgrade? Apple iOS 13.2 has arrived and it’s a dumpster fire. Following the multitude of iOS 13 launch problems, Apple’s fifth rapid-fire update not only ignores serious issues but introduces new ones. All of which is a great shame, because iOS 13.2 delivers some big new features. Regarding whether or not you should upgrade, depends on your situation. The recommendation from the author is, "don't upgrade if you're on iOS 12", and, "Do upgrade if you are already on iOS 13.x because you now have nothing to lose". Pretty bloody disappointing situation from Apple. For those of you on 13.2 now, and specifically to those of you who had been experiencing the random call disconnects, is that still an issue?
I'm not getting random call drops but I have been impacted by the aggressive background clean up issues that are starting to get talked about. E.G. Reading/Watching something in Safari. Switch to slack to answer a question. Switch back and Safari reloads and loses my spot.
I read about that in this article. iOS 13 has a huge bug that makes me want to dump my iPhone and iPad: http://flip.it/F89frK Because of this kind of shit, I've still not upgraded. I do wonder where people stand with regards to the Australian Consumer Guarantee if their i-device becomes unusable because of shitty updates. Not that I'd want to lose either my iPhone or my iPad but Apple really need to get it together.
not really "unusable" would be my argument (if i was ACL)... its just not working as well as expected
Yeah, I agree here. Something needs a shake up at Apple - designing nice looking stuff only works for so long, it has to work really well, too. Especially at those prices... Z...
