    iPadOS was just formally announced at WWDC. Looks like they are finally looking to make the iPad more useful & more than just a massive-screen version of the iPhone.

    Initial features from the keynote can be found in the below article. Most near and dear to me is; USB drives and SD cards will now be supported in the Files app. Yippee! Nothing on mouse/pointer support yet though...

    I wonder if my last gen before USB c iPad Pro will be allowed to do use USB drives...

    Sweet. Was looking at updating my 10.5" Pro to a new 12.9 - looks like a great reason to do it.

    Should do - I use a few lightning-usb devices. One is a calibrated USB condenser mic for calibrating home theatres, the other is an SD card reader to get my photos off my camera, and then edit them in Affinity Photo.

    Supposedly there is mouse support but only by wired connection (so far).
