And don't leave them connected to the charger once they have been fully charged. Get them off as soon as possible.

maybe you should make a one eyed comment about something you actually quoted instead of a random statement.

not to mention (again!) that you can still use google maps in iOS 6 easily anyway

edit: aside from whether the maps issues are actually issues or not, that tumblr and the jokes are hilarious that are popping up.

Why? I wouldn't have thought the battery keeps receiving power when it's full?

I would be surprised if anyone would buy a phone purely for maps. However, that being said, it was a main point in the iOS6 keynote 'No more google maps, we can do better' and the quality control before release has been poor.

Yup, point being that it 'just doesn't work'. How's LTE fairing for the Optus folk, you've been very quiet :)

It's the same as what I originally said. Don't keep them full. You leave it plugged in, it stays at 100%. It's half the reason why so many laptop batteries die. People leave them plugged in 24/7/365 and wonder why they don't work anymore after the 365 :p

Believe me when I say I'm not making any excuses for the errors with Apple's maps (though I havent encountered them on a scale that some people have, worst thing I've seen so far is in Melbourne it says Batman Park is in the river).

Maps should work and they shouldnt have launched it if it wasn't rock solid.

But to address those that exclaim "you shouldnt HAVE to use an alternative"

well, guess what. you do.

Seconded, but we do have the Deadpool swimming complex
