The shimmer rose gold looks good, maybe ill try get a standard 7 for the wifey.
So who's staying up to listen to the announcement? Not me
Times for live stream:
The iphone7 will be the same at 3am, as it is at 9am.
I will wait to read about it whilst on the train to work
Remember peak oil? Now we have reached peak smartphone, no really
Hopefully I can get a larger capacity 6s during the annual dump by 7 adopters
As long as I can get a preorder in, I am happy.
No, not correct, the announcement could change in that time
Die hards will be up and eager....heh
Meanwhile I try and flog off my 6S+ Just feel like a change.
I'm sticking with my 6S+. Dual camera on the 7+ is interesting, but other than that, nothing really piquing my interest.
If there's a new color, such as the black or blue, I might buy pre-order one and scalp it during the first week
Yep, regular headphone jack now gone in favour of lightning jack. Adapter will be included.
fark me thats an expensive meatball, guess I need to pony up. Onoes what will I do with that 1920x1080 resolution
Hrm, tickles my fancy. Been on the Android for so long now.
Out of curiosity why does the 4.7 display use 1334-by-750-pixel resolution?
If i use the lighting bolt adaptor for my headphones how do i charge it at the same time? which i do alot on my travel home
Might be able to get a y cable?
You listen to headphones while driving?
You can't. Apple is making you spend another A$229 to be able to do that with the Airpods. Just don't lose them... hahaha
You do realise the iPhone isn't locked down to using AirPod's right?
hmmmm, not real sure about these - I'd hate for them to fall out and get lost. Courage certainly is a word you can use to describe this decision, I'd say they are betting that this type of headphone is ready for mainstream use. Time will tell if this is a fuckup I guess.
I'm just running through the tech specs on the 7+ compared with the comparable 5.7" flagship phones from the other major manufacturers. Where is the attraction to this phone? Unless you're dependent on iOS (which may be a valid reason), I just don't understand.
Nice spec and power boost.
I like the appearance.
That headphone jack is a deal breaker for me though. My old car only has 3.5mm input. I plug it into the stereo while driving and need to be able to charge it too. Same story with my mates car. I would loose that adapter straight away. Likewise I can't go around buying separate headphones just for my phone.
Sorry Apple. Gonna sit this one out.
If they had made a slightly thicker version with 3.5mm I would be all ears.
It will work as advertised, that is how I would sum it up. Apple haven't been one to lead the pack since Steve passed but they still know how to do seamless integration in their ecosystem. If their new wireless standard offers amazing audio quality with no cables compared to bluetooth's failed attempts then I am all for it. If you don't like the AirPods, then don't use them. I don't see the problem with the adapter personally, leave it plugged into the dam headphones and forget about it...
I couldn't give 2 shits if phones like the Note 7 has a edgeless display or glass front and back, I want a phone that works reliably and so far, no Android phone has delivered that experience for me and I have tried 3 times.
There will be a wireless adapter in a very short time, I guarantee it.
Personally the only thing I hate is the fkn camera bulge. Steve would have never let that happen.
So pre-orders go live from 9am tomorrow morning?
one im looking at is $1420, thats a lot of money for a bloody phone.
