    Am I right in saying that the cheapest you can get an iPhone 8+ or iPhone X on plan is about $100/month? It seems gone are the days of the $70-80 plans?

    Yeah given the industry these days and the quick flowing nature of new phones these days 24 months certainly does seem to be a VERY long period to be locked in for.

    Pretty sure the 3 big providers all offer some sort of trade in after 12 months. That's probably what i'll do next year for the iPhone X

    A friend sis at work heard a word of mouth deal a while ago 256Gig iphone X with 20 GB a month with spotify and netflix data not counted for $60 total a month. She got it and it is indeed 60 a month...

    $60 x 24 = $1440. That’s $400 below the cost of the phone on its own, let alone adding a 20gb plan on top. Spotify and Netflix free is an Optus bonus far as I know. No way that’s a legit transaction, I suspect something funky going on

    Free Spotify and Netflix was/is an Optus thing. Voda doesn’t offer anything free. Telstra has Foxtel Go and Apple Music but even that isn’t free data

    It also has the AFL, NRL and Netball for free

    which post? mine or the other one with the $60 iphone x plan? Only way I can think of that's possible is if it's an employee discount or some sort of credit is applied each month. Either way, non-standard plan and not available to average Joes
