"New" to Apple...
I know this is a bit old man yells at clowns, but I liked the internet and phones better before every man and his dog was using them. It is being dumbed down to appeal to the dumb masses.
I thought it was some facebook thing where you upload your face and it adds animal features. Didn't know it had permeated to emojii's
Was just going to post that. Quoted straight from Apple media people maybe.
So Apple rolls out another new, innovative, ground-breaking iPhone in the 8 and 8+....
And then announces an iPhone X ("ten") at the same time to be available just a month or two later.
Remind me again what the point of the iP8 is?
I'm no fan of Apple, having never owned an iPhone or Mac, but surely the X is the only phone that should have been released (and called the 8).
It's finally got a decent screen, modern design, wireless and fast charging, biometric security (but no fingerprint scanner, really?) and excellent camera (although Apple has generally always had very competitive phone cams).
You know it's true that compliments and fawning over animal pictures exponentially increases the chances of a blowjob.
On another first public demo of face ID fails on release
Augmented reality was on my Sony Z1 years ago. The Spiderman app was a crowd pleaser
when Samsung revealed face unlock I hated it then and I still hate it now - every time you use it you feel like you are taking a passport or license photo and no-one likes that feeling where you have to hold your face a certain way.
Yet another case of Apple finally catching up to Android... and still managing to screw it up.
Yes indeed, innovation galore.
Pricing for the X is disappointing. Another cash grab for Apple by selling to sheep. Think I'll hold onto my G6 and 7+ a little longer.
Hate it so much I don't use it lol
To me it seems like for long time that both Apple and Samsung been refining the phone, rather then innovating or "Wowing" us
What surprises me more is my recent experience with mid range android phone around $400, and how good they were.
Remember just the speed alone, one generation to next re: original to iphone5 made upgrading a real consideration.
It's not really a cash grab. It's sort of the phone equivalent of a Merc SLR or the way Bugatti is to Volkswagen.
Obnoxious price and not expected to sell in huge numbers but is a purchasable tech demo for those with the means and inclination for such things.
wtf is with that pricing..
Yup, farking insane
Isn't that why people start a business, to make money?
not always, sometimes they just like stuff and want to share it with others.
it's why some products are new and exciting and others are homogenised copies of things that have come before.
I can see it now, samsung's next top of the line phone is going to be $3k just because we want it to be more exxy than the iPhone X
its going to be made of some space material... and made in limited numbers...
100% Agree. Hopefully the LG V30 floats my boat.
