Out of all the photos there, Sqeezer is the closest person to what i had in mind when i chose this theme.
But Sir Bazz's picture is my favorite, great shot!
I Didn't make the cut this month :upset: . Ah well lets try again next month

    Fish?... huh

I don't see how a fish into water is potential hazard, where is the electricity.
If you look at the photo up side down obvious it looks like its been taken when the fish has been dropped into the water. i don't see the creativity in this. Just doesn't seem to fit the theme too good either. I vote for nastas. As soon as i seen that photo i was like Holy Cow - dude, thats sooo wrong - deffinately a potential hazard. Fuck u if u did that to me and id be having kids.

On a personal level I Agree with your comments, however I don't think you can force people who are voting to consider the theme when selecting their favourite photo. Yes they should be and hopefully most people do, but I'm sure that there are a handfull of people that vote every month that wouldnt even know what the theme is supposed to be. :upset: :upset:

Would sincerely hope that people dont create phantom accounts to rig the voting. It is a friendly comp :Pirate:

    27 27 27 .. arghh it can't be happening.
    Nastas definatly deserves to win!

It's clever and humorous interpretation of the theme , combined with an excellent photo , nails the first place.

Squeezer's image is very good too , but it's not as clever as nastas.

And Sir_bazz's image ? Sure it's an excellent image from a photography point of view (though it's a little hard to tell heads from tails on the fish) but it conveys absolutely no sense of danger and therefore gets no points for clever use of the theme in my book.

BTW when exactly does this close ?

    It's says 8PM .. but 8PM in what timezone ?

    What's the GMT modifier ?

It's currently 14:30 where I am .. compare that to the timestamp on the forum.

Just got back from a Pizza and Pool evening.. Wow a 3 way tie ( Never seen that before). Grats to all

Now that the voting is over I took about 30 shots over about 1.5 hrs lying on my stomach waiting for the damn snail to stick his head out. Had a water spray bottle there to wet the ground to tempt him out as it was a sunny day. My Wife and Kids couldnt understand why I spent so much time trying to get a photo of a snail when normally we just squish em or feed em to the Chickens.

I had my daughters shoe ( V small ) propped up with a piece of wood. When the snail was in his/her shell and I was waiting the dog and my daughter went running past over the wood. There was a few time Im sure that they would knock the wood which would release the shoe and crush my prop

Congratulations guys, I reckon the 3 way tie is a good result, I always have difficulty selecting a 'best one' in these comps, and enjoy the many good shots submitted..................... well done
