    Official January 2008 Theme: "Flow"

    End date: 10 pm AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time) Thursday, 31st January 2008.


    Our October Iron Photographer, dlcx, has chosen "Flow" as this months competition theme.

    Remember to think laterally, not literally.

    No photos taken before this post will be considered and no entires will be accepted after the closing time even if the thread remains open. Please note all times are Eastern standard time.
    All entries must be exactly 800 pixels on their longest dimension; eg, 800x450 or 600x800. This includes any borders you choose to add. No thumbnails.

    ahh agg why couldn't you post this earlier! :( my stairway to boredom pic would have made a decent little entry. can i retake the same shot? :D

    gah, I just realised a heap of water pics I took earlier this month can't be submitted either. :) oh well, them's the rules!

    D'oh! I got no decent water flow shots at the roman baths here in UK. i'm sure I'll find something while in Italy though... already have some ideas otherwise. Good topic!

    your entry needs to be 800 pixel in width or height or it is invalid

    I checked the width at UGBox and its at 800 pixels the Height is 516px. I reduced it with irfanview before I uploaded.

    TonyR, consider yourself reported to the authoroties for wasting water during water restrictions. :p

    Here on the beautiful South Coast we don't have any water restrictions. :D

    I had a couple of non-aquatic ideas, but when the grandson started filling the pool.....

    I will probably change if I can actually manage to take the shot I want

    Just finished processing a few 'flow/fluid' shots from last week :)

    kindredd, your entry is currently 512x768 pixels, but the rules specifically state that "All entries must be exactly 800 pixels on their longest dimension; eg, 800x450 or 600x800. This includes any borders you choose to add. No thumbnails."

    Yeah I understand thinkig outside the box - will probably be replacing in the next week or so :)

    oldiedaman, your entry is invalid, as EXIF shows it was taken before the start of the competition, and the rules in the first post of the entries thread specifically states that "No photos taken before this post will be considered.".
