    Hi,

I am now 17, and above the age limit for all games available in ausstralia. But most scary games (eg deadspace) I think are too scary and I havn't even played them :D Just watching demos gives me gas. Is that normal? Cos part of me wants to play a game like deadspace.
    Heh Heh.

I thought that was the reason people played those games, same reason people watch horror movies :p

    Good luck.

But no, if the atmosphere is right, plenty of games can get your heart pumping.

The only reasons I haven't finished games is because a) they were insufferablly repetitive (e.g. Torchlight), or b) I was scared shitless and/or had nightmares (e.g. portal, hl2, etc)

Son, let me pass on some advice to you whilst your somewhat young....
Internet gore. Get up in that shit now. Seriously. Once you can watch faces of death, 2girls1cup without fidgiting, all manners of crap on the internet becomes one and the same. Just become decensortised to it, and nothing will scare you anymore. It's best if you start young, but you've still got time to adapt.

The only game I've come close to quitting due to scaryness is System Shock 2. That is one scary game.
