the only person who has accces to that would be Mr wright which I'm sure he is doing / will be doing in his own time... so maybe lets keep all the sabre rattling, and posing down to a bare minimum

Bulletproof networks, Simon Wrights host would know, they where the ones who traced the origin of the last ddos attack.

As for my previous reply to your quote, I didnt read the quote you were responding too, suffice to say it would be pretty much impossible to find out the name of the website the attacker(s) like, let alone find the attackers themselves.

No doubt the people behind the ddos attack would be using a botnet and not their own computers.

Its similar to overclockers but instead of focusing on hardware it focuses mainly on broadband isp's

Similar how to this site looks at overlocker machines, specifically Janome, and their use in dressmaking; whirlpool looks at Whirlpool whitegood products and their use in modern homes.

he is being sarcastic... we go there to get our isp info...

(gets out the tents, blankets cots) you guys will need these if the attacks continue..

(injects all newbies with a dose of scarcasm)

as a member of both sites WP has a vital purpose for OCAU members. don't let the "regulars" scare you off.. make yourselfs at home and just follow the rules...

same here. seemed to be up and running for me from about 10:30am to 10:30pm, then suddenly down.
checked on itsnotjustme thanks to a tip in the forum this morning about the earlier outage, then thought, where to now?
i've lurked around here before, but didn't sign up because of the "no hotmail" rule. had to configure my isp email which i'd never used before just to sign up and be able to whinge about whingepool being gone!!!!!!

Wouldn't whoever is doing this have more success (assuming it's australian based) to attack conroy's site trying to prove something about security?

What does whirlpool have worth attacking? or was it just to piss off people?

That's what hackers tend to like doing with their free time... take down websites to cause inconvenience.

I still can't believe people use Janomes. They haven't had a competitive machine is two generations! Jump on board and join the mainstream crowd with our Berninas, which has the sheer performance advantage in all current benchmarks.

My mum uses Janome, like her mum before her. I'd never use one of them Bernina skum machines, no matter what these 'benchmarks' are. If you're so fond of benchmarks, grow a penis and do some carpentry with your 'benches'.

How do you give smiley aura in ocau? :)

Does anyone have any idea of the reason for the DDOS attacks, or is it just assholes being asses?
