Good price, but half the write speed of the 128GB version. Id like to see a benchmark but i think you will find it to be the x25-V series of the Crucial lineup...

Revo's sandforce would do far better i think. Also you dont need a new controller to get the full speed.

Dezza Bot is going to need more pci-e slots. waaay more. The fact that chkdsk kept coming up in the Anand review suggests that something is seriously going wrong in the innards of that card however. I don't know if I'd be willing to trust it with my data.

Its not out yet, early SSDs had lots of issues too. No doubt its a firmware issue.
Its actually a simple design so there isnt much to go wrong...

Regarding those Crucial SSD's looks like we can buy direct from crucial
    - $25 bucks shipping to aus (in US dollars)

$371.824 AUD for 2x64GB drives with shipping doesnt seem too bad imo

    very tempting

indeed not a bad price but limited to 2x raided really, you can now get 40GB OCZ Vertex2 for $179 so 3x 40GB OCZ Vertex2 for $537 with 3x raided performance just enough to fill up ICH10R controller heh.
