    They are comparatively difficult to get credit terms with. Very tight with their money.

    tell me about it . For us to get our credit limit raised it took well over 12 months and we were good for it , so for someone starting out in the current climate i can see it being near on impossible

    Most likely because of the glut of IT Wholesalers that were purchasing from them on credit who went bust and owed a lot of money.

    It's for their own protection.

    $500K in outstanding debt is a lot to wipe off the books.

    That guy retired from IT from what I heard. Besides white boxes are for larger companies that need scale.

    I get it, trust me. I was there fighting to build their commercial business just as they got open licensing.

    Every dollar they protected, they forwent $400 in lost opportunity and then some.

    Thankfully in an infinitely better company now.

    FYI Altech is now in administration.

    I use Synnex, Dicker, Leader, XITD for 90% of purchases. Other 10% go through Ingram, WholesaleIT, Legend, Alloy and Alloys.
