Anyone in Brisbane catch the sunrise in a decent spot?
I was stuck at work and only got it with the point n shoot (will post later, currently stuck with tethered Internet access as ours is down at the moment).
Most definitely would have preferred to be down by the Gateway than here (no RDO time :()

Would love to see some if anyone got it...

    *Edit*

Here's mine for the morning, taken on the Magic Mile...

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, that sucks! I wanted to get up for a sunrise shoot, but had a bad headache last night so I thought I'd go on thursday morning instead. When I got up this morning I saw the cloud formation and thought it would've been pretty nice. :upset:

Its not that unusual, that's what my backyard looks like on a warm day or in summer at 6am and at 9pm. Sometimes in the morning too even tho it's winter.

    The start of this year

Brisbane this time of the year/winter usually is clear skies, we don't get too many sunrises like the one from this morning...

Yeah gateway would of been good. I was a 1 min drive away from Shorncliffe so that kind of swayed me into going there :p

I don't need to Its the same for a clear starry night. I live 10mins from Sunbury and Bacchus Marsh so around my area can be pretty clear.
5 mins away and you have hit the middle of nowhere heaps of clear view countryside.

Anyone know what made that awesome red colour in the sky?
As soon as I saw the cloud cover this morning I thought 'This is gonna be a goodun.'

Lately I've noticed in Sydney that our sunsets are orange-pink in colour, but after a day of raining the next day the sky will be a purple-red. Don't know if that is usually the case but something I've picked up, could just be coincidence.
