Japanese Cemetary / Gardens in Cowra NSW

    From the cemetery to the gardens, both in Cowra NSW from the Japanese prisoner escape site in WW2. 4 Aussies died when the Japanese escaped and over powered a gun emplacement. The Australians ran out of ammunition and stayed to dismantle and destroy the gun so it couldn't be re-used by the escaping soldiers; it cost them their lives.

    I had plans to visit this place last September/October for the cherry blossoms, but had something come up. :( Looks awesome, hopefully will make it this year!

    One and two are pretty under, the last one is too tight a framing/crop.

    Absolutely *love* number 5, it's got a lot of awesomeness going on, good sky highlighting and nice deep focus, well done :)

    Cheers all. Was really on/off weather all day. Really hard sunlight one minute, behind a cloud the next.

    Got burnt to a crisp, heh.
