I bought this today at the local department store. I don't know much about it tbh, other than it looks pretty cool :D:D. It eats jelly and I just need to keep the enclosure moist.

Sure does, the elephant beetles are very similar, free to anyone with a poinciana tree, they come each year to the same trees in QLD for fights to the death with other males and hard core sex with other lady beetles.

    What a life.

It's a C.atlas bug to be specific. After having it for nearly 2 weeks, I must say its more boring than a tamagochi. Its just sits and eats all day and night ,when confronted by another bug, it'll act dead. I must have got a pansy bug. Im going to have to set it free soon when i return to Aus.

Regarding those wasp, i can get them free from around the bushes outside my dorms, although they just scare the sh!ts out of me.:wired:

beaten by the black centipede in round 12.

there is an encyclopaedia dramatica entry for that Japanese bug fights that gives stats on the bugs, and beetles are actually the best ranked in terms of win/loss ratio.
