I would like to attend the Glebe session if the numbers aren't getting too out of hand.

No need for model release forms. Although they can't hurt.

If someone is willing to swap back and forth with me being a mobile flash stand I'll bring speedlites and a softbox ;-)

I'm in for a weekend session (ie. just the Saturday at this point).

Will bring my el-cheapo HK stand and softbox, flash, triggers, etc. Running Sony system (see sig), happy to let other have a play if they're really keen.

Happy to pay a bit for model/studio/MUA, but would be perfectly happy with tram sheds or somewhere else cool. Would definitely prefer model to sign release, I can get a Getty Images precedent if necessary. Edit: If it involves breaking in anywhere or confrontation with security, I'm out.

Also - would be great if the model had (or borrowed from friends/family) a crapload of outfits.

Anyone here willing to be a gaffer? Willing to pay small amount for that too.

I was thinking of getting a basic model release form with all of our names on it so that we dont end up with 50 million copies of forms? That way the model can just sign it and I can just scan it and pass it onto everyone that requires it.

I also agree about breaking in and security confrontation. Will have to scout that location after my exams. If we need to find an alternative, i'm open to options. That studio ehor mentioned seems pretty decently priced. Be about $200 for the half day (include some equipment)

Studio set ups arent really my thing but nonetheless, a shoot is a shoot.

Gaffer as in person that holds lights?... I can probably get someone to do that.

Some more info on the Glebe tramsheds... Since its on a weekend... and it is a public area, we may have to put up with traffic if we go with this location. I'll check it out one weekend anyway.

Yes agree, only 1 form per model otherwise it will be ridiculous.

Studio split between 6 of us (current numbers) is $33.33 each. Not bad for a half day of shooting; 10 people would mean $20 each but it would start to get crowded at or after that. I would prefer on-location to studio as well but with the weather being as it is that may not be possible!

Gaffer is not essential but could be fun if people want to change things up quickly. In fact the more I think about it, with at least 6 peeps there we'll probably have more than enough hands on deck. But if someone's there just chillin' they may as well make themselves useful :)

    Good link btw

Tram sheds is plenty big enough and has enough areas that it doesn't matter if other people are there.
