I don't mind, as I figure a lot of that is probably textures..

Much better than an 8gb game with ps3 textures..

Game development must be such a staggeringly long process these days..

Apparently they are legit.. I haven't bought anything from them, but they seem to sell to anyone, regardless of region. I hear that they're are overly paranoid when it comes to your first purchase, as they require a scan of your drivers licence etc, but you can tell them that you refuse to and they'll process the order anyway.

It seems that a number of online stores are now either unable to sell to australians, or they give us an aussie tax. There are a couple of online stores (that are not 3rd party) that will sell to out of region customers. Gamesrocket and DLGamer come to mind.

That said, I bought my copy for $25usd/$38aud from a key store, and no issues.

yes and no, on my pc yes frames drops to 40-45 fps on my system, 3770k 2xtitans 16gb ssd. oh sli doesnt work either, thanks nvidia. i dont think i will ever go sli again. have had many sli combos now since the old 8800gt days, but drivers and games suck with it. not only that drivers dont get released till after the games release which tells me devs dont even do any coding now days with sli systems during there dev time.

but to me 40fps is fine to play the game, watch youtube videos of pc play, you will see it runs fine.

btw my settings are maxed out on the game.
everything is on (except blur, hate that shit)
everything else set to very high.

game plays great and has been a lot of entertainment. wingsuit rocks!

If you run this game in borderless window I find there arnt annoying FPS drops below 60FPS. @1080p

I think Fullscreen is broken in this game.

Tested on GTX 970 and 290x

The AA in this game is horrible. And smaa 2x or whatever the setting looks terrible.

Intel i5, 16GB RAM, nVidia 670, fresh install of Win7 with nothing except Chrome, Steam and Just Cause installed... works perfectly for me (except for the one time it just quit randomly and tried to send a crash report to the makers).

I have no idea what everyone is complaining about.
Then again, I never tried to touch the graphics settings after install. I'm more interested in playing the game.
But who knows... maybe I just got lucky with my hardware.

Yeah, i suppose im not as picky as most either.
It may have some framerate drips, but doesnt get in the way of me enjoying it.

    Granted im running a EVGA 780 sc @ 1080P

Did you at least check the screen res it chose? It chose 1280x720 for me. I have a 27" 2560x1440 monitor.

    Didn't check the res yet.
My primary is a Dell 30", 2560x1600 (I think your 27" is probably the same as my secondary). It really doesn't bother me what resolution it's at; I'm having enormous fun!

Yeah, my ~3yo hardware is pretty wicked!

    Sure I can; watch this:
It runs amazingly, looks great, and I'm having fun. And, here's the kicker: I'm not posting about issues with frame rate (PC), or load times (Xbox/PS4).

My only real gripe is that I forgot the game doesn't support joysticks.
I purchased a wireless receiver for my Xbox controller for JC2 and forgot that I'd lent it to a mate. Will have to get it back tomorrow. :)

Played the shit out of this over the weekend. Took me a little while to get to grips with the changed physics from JC2 (things aren't as "instant" as they were), but finally got the knack of it, and now loving it to bits.

So great to have a fun game that isn't brown. Second best game I've played this year.
