Think its expired now, but.....
USD$6.74 (roughly AUD$8.91) for the next 3-ish days:
If you missed out on this previously, get it now. Heaps of silly fun.
For that price, fucking get it.
Amazing fun, even if you just play the first few missions and dick around the rest of the time.
Yep, get it. Just run around causing mayhem.... the next best thing to the rampage missions in GTA.
I think its better.
Nothing says awesome like strapping yourself to a gas canister and riding it into the sunset as an oil rig explodes behind you!
I jumped a lot between GTA5 and JC2 (I was late to JC2), and felt so restricted in GTA. Ditto when I got the HD re-release of GTA5 and played JC3.
Once you're parachuting/wingsuiting/grappling/steal-a-jetting around in pure freedom, GTA's "drive somewhere" feels like I'm trapped in slow motion.
I agree.. once you get the parachute and grapple, you can effectively fly, for free, and just loiter over targets with nil consequence. Just so much fun picking off targets and grenading bigger targets with all that explosively eye-candy.
Whilst true, GTA 5 feels way more alive and immersive.
Just Cause 3 is quite bland and undetailed and samey everywhere. Good fun though.
GTA series is extremely polished, so no surprises really. It's a huge franchise.
Oh for sure. GTA is more of a "cynical life simulator", and also has 50 times the people and budget.
Compare to JC3, where their development motto was "fun beats realistic". It was never intended to offer any sort of realistic immersion, only to be silly fun.
Yeah I should get back into it. Only a few hours in. Good mindless fun.
That's what I thought about GTA. Spent way too much time in there just mucking around doing stupid shit
Randomly Youtube recommended me the following videos on the weekend.
I forgot how fun and explosive JC3 could be, and need to load it up for some lockdown distraction soon.
I did watch most of the run from his VOD, as it was pretty hilarious and a good way to pass the time.
I enjoyed the hell of out of JC2 and JC3, but by all accounts JC4 is entirely missable...
I've heard that too. No plans to touch it here, even if it is at a bargain basement price.
Same, I never finished GTA V because every time I play it I end up going on a massive rampage instead of doing the missions.
Anyway yeah JC3 is where it's at....4 is pretty bad.
My son loves messing around in jc4 with trainer to allow unlimited ammo.
I know initially the visuals were a step back. What else makes 4 worse then 3. Story?
