    Hey Guys :)

Thought I'd share some of the shots I've taken in the last month or so, Managed to get up to Karajini National Park in W.A for a few days as well which was just an awesome trip and place to have the pleasure of photographing :)

Lots of shots to edit from that and hope to share them at some time as well :) in the mean time I'll share these and hope you enjoy :)

    1. This is a 40 shot pano taken on the Nikon D810 + Sigma 35mm 1.4 Art @ F1.8, This is taken on Mt Bruce and was just such an awesome sight to see and soak in whilst spending 4-5 hours up here shooting the nights sky. I do a big break down of everything you can see in the picture on the Flickr link :) (final size was 30000x10000px) he's a big boy :)

    2. An epic storm off the coast of Mindarie 2 months back or so, I really loved watching this whole storm unfold and cruise straight past my location, The clouds just took on a life of their own and I went with this in post :)

    3. This was "base camp" for our 3 day trip in Karajini National Park, I'd like to pretend we did it tough on our down time but well I think the picture does the talking :) beautiful view on your back door step :)

    4. Taken at Lake Cliffton south of Perth, this is a great place for Milky Way shooting and also the site of very ancient thrombolites, little link on the location here for anyone interested :) http://www.westernaustralia-travell...r.com/3926/15122324967_350f32c8a9_c.jpg[/img]Final Frontier by Scott Jon Photography, on Flickr

    5. This is a very smoke filled sunset down at Burns Beach north of Perth, this time of year is brilliant for the vibrant green on the rocks and the smoke on sunset made for an interesting shot :)

    6. This shot was taken at Yanchep Lagoon North of Perth, I'd stood from the observation area looking down at this very cool tidal surge that was going over the reef and down into the lagoon, I put my brave boy pants on and walked out into the water thigh deep to try and capture the movement :)

Thanks for looking and hope you enjoy :)

Thanks mate :) much appreciated, I find about 10 seconds/ISO 2500|F1.8 is the sweet spot for me on the Sigma 35mm Art, just a nice balance between noise and exposure :)

Thanks Bud :) Yer it was one hell of a angry looking storm but it was nice enough to just keep about 5km's off shore and pass on by so I didn't have to run to shelter ;)

    *shakes head*

Saw your first thread, and then spotted this one.

It's threads like this that want to make you go out and try and get remotely close to the beautiful shots you have here.

    Again thanks for sharing..

and seriously .... consider making a calendar with your collection of shots... I reckon you'd sell a lot of them!

Fantastic set of shots. I love number 1
Make me wish I had the motivation/time to get far enough from the city to dabble in astrophotography. Damn light pollution!
