I went down to Bondi yesterday to see the Boostsurfsho comp, and to catch a glimpse of Kelly Slater. Its a shame the surf was pretty average, and Slater only caught 3 waves the whole time i was there, but i managed to snap a few anyway. Its on again today if anyone else wants to check it out. Agreed, i think they're a bit underexposed, bump up the light a bit. other than that the action shots are great
nice shots there, i need to upload mine as well, but still trying to recover from spenting 3 days sitting on the beach from 8 to 5
I was aiming for a dark and stormy look for the processed images, but in hindsight its not that great Thanks for the advice about brightening them up, hows this one of Mick Fanning look now?
That looks waaaaaaaaay better brightened up. The other processing didn't really work for this type of shot. The big black thing (buoy?) is weird though. Wish it was all pure blue behind him.
