    Hi Guys.
Installed Windows7 with UEFI bios many times without issue.
This install is causing me stress. Mouse works in Bios OK. Keyboard alive.
    Bios set to Legacy.
The moment Windows boots, the Keyboard and mouse go dead.
    USB keyboard and mouse.
    Any clues appreciated.

Might help someone in the future if you let people know what the issue was.

The motherboard lost the PS/2 Mouse port, and couldn't install Windows7.
Keyboard worked PS/2, and found later that Windows7 could have been installed, using keyboard only.
I wasn't aware this is possible.Anyways, took the PC to the computer shop I use, and the head Techy confirmed re no mouse port. The board was still under warranty, but they don't sell this board anymore. So he made me up an install disc, with the drivers for USB installed on the disk. This allowed me to use the usb keyboard and mouse from the beginning of install. Everything went smooth. When all programs and updates installed and tweakings, I made a clone of the system, with Macrium. Tested the clone, and it boots.
The motherboard is an Asrock H110M-ITX. I will see if someone here has one I can buy, as a spare.
