Whilst mounting some of my photos, heard some rustling in the bushes. Turned out our resident koala decided to go for a swim today.

Poor bugger was probably suffering heat exhaustion, ~44C in Adelaide today.

I get a few in the trees outside my house in the front yard during summer months, I've put some water down for them now.

    Nice pics : )

Hahahhaha, 3 acres of garden provides many habitats for animals.

I dislike the brown snakes the most. One got into my dogs area, lucky my dog was sleepign and too stupid to see the snake, quickly let the dog in the house!

Dont want to hijack the thread, but this reminded of an email I got a few days ago. Not sure if anyone else got it as well.

Same thing really, one of the hot days in Adelaide and a koala came to a house exhausted and went for a dunk! So awesome.

I had to stop people from forwarding that set of photos at work because the person who sent it around didn't bothered resizing it and we had a 7.5MB email pinging back and forth in the office causing havoc to the email system. Worst is when everyone tries to send it to all their friends.

Back to OP, nice pics mate. Would love to see more of the residents in your garden too. :D

Yeh but the real funny part was, when I sent the broadcast email out to staff telling them to stop sending the koalas email around, the first email i got back was from the CEO saying "i'm sorry."

    sweet pic's !!

i had a baby koala come up to me last night when me and some mates were hanging out the front.

was quite cool , it walked half way across the road and sat down , car was coming so i whistled and it walked over to us :O

then today he was in the tree across the road and people gave him a bowl of water , if he is still hanging tomorrow ill give him some cold water and take some pics :)

i heart wild life that isn't vicious
