    Great coverage mate

Absolutely loved your video comp up on youtube. I went to the Syd one and manoeuvring amongst the crowds would not have been an easy task.

Also, had no idea what SBTRKT looked like so thanks

Friggen awesome, you have some serious talent :)

#4 is my pick.. the colour and contrast is brilliant. (soo sharp... what setup you use?)

Great job Michael. Numbers 3 and 4 really take the cake for me.

    Thanks for sharing.

Excellent shots. I wish my gig photos turned out even half as good as these!

Thanks for the Kind words - Still looking for a way to make a buck though from gig photography sadly :upset:

Shoot with a 50D and a 5D mk2. Mainly had the 70-200 F/2.8 for band shots and the 16-35 F/2.8 primarily for Punter shots with me.

Nice work with the rainbow. What lense were you using? You seem to be getting some fairly tight shots. Not much noise in them either!

Camera info, lens, Shutter speed etc is available on all photos in the gallery link posted in the original post. Click on the "i" on the RHS. The rainbow shot was with the 50D and a 16-35mm, not much time given the short life of rainbows so it wasnt perfect. Had to run a Grad filter over the sky in post and add some saturation to the sky to make it stand out more

Thanks for that. I'm sure I've shot music before but always had to go with ISO 3200 due to the low light - maybe I was shooting f4 not 2.8 or 3.2.

Bigger festivals "normally " have better lighting although a few bands choose to be moody and put bugger all lighting on -> The Horrors. Others you can get away with ISO 800 and bump up shutter speed to 1/320th
