    Hey OCAU,

A new MMO out, it's basically at the stage of early days of UO, with the 3D graphic engine,
combat has special abilities that consume your stamina,
600 skill cap, 150 stat cap (For the moment, I assume it will in crease,)

The UI is reasonably polished, considering still in BETA, graphics aren't bad at all, will run on anything, can multi-client,
Steam Release coming Available: 8 January, 2019

https://www.legendsofaria.com/ - IT IS ABOUT $40 US now, steam release maybe cheaper,

let us know if you try it out,
any questions feel free to ask,
    have a lovely holidays OCAU.

Looks good, but lots of issues apparently especially for carebears like me :D

I'll just keep following this thread.

Just purchased this game. I was right into UO back in the day, saw a few reviews which did not rate the game very well, but ironically the things they hated was what made me purchase it.

Anyone else playing and whats your thoughts on the game so far?

Steam release delayed till 22 Mar it seems, although they called it an "update" vs a delay

Also, I have not put a huge amount of time into the game as yet as I have been busy at work, but in the 5-7 hours I have been playing I have been more drawn to the Legends of Ultima community server. The community server is pretty much UO (minus a few map changes), but even the LoA base game is very UO-ish. The biggest difference so far is a rather subjective one, but the game world seems less alive and more empty. Still trying to put my finger on why this is though.

Still too early to have a proper opinion of the game though.

I caved and bought it outside of steam. It's awesome. I love it. There just isn't much population (npc / animals etc) in the world.

Undecided. I'll probably just wait till they are done. I've been tracking it since they started calling it Shards Online on kickstarter, but now its scope creeped into something else entirely.

played UO for many years in my teens and loved it. would love a similar game but can only play for 3-5hours a week.
the cost of the game with no ongoings is very appealing.
    are there many OCAUers playing?
