i got one of those big arsed clear containers full of it (1m*0.5m*0.5m)
i used to have great fun with it, space, pirate, and island shit
playing in the pool with the space and pirate was the best.
does anyone find that if you get big tubs of lego there is usally other stuff in there thats really random, paper, coins, cups etc?

I plan to get my fiancé a portrait art of her from this guy one day, if money permits.

It makes me want to try the feeling making a lego again.

Ahhh lego, i still have all mine tucked away somewhere.
I had the Robo-gardian when i was little. I was in love with that thing. I had it built for at least 3 years and most days i would play with it. Thems were the days....

I have a whole bunch of Star Wars lego sets. I was so obsessed with them that I refuse to break them up and they still sit, fully pieced together, in shoeboxes in my cupboard. I'll drag them out tomorrow and take a picture for y'all.

is it just me but has lego just gone crap now? it was much better when i was actually building it... now when i go into the toy stores, the lego section is so small... :(

just for the sake of it, this has to be the best lego set ever :)

Used to have sooo much of the pirate Lego as a kid. We had both boats from memory, and being kids, took no care of it, so bits went missing. Poor parents must of spent a fortune on it!

Ah, the days when you could put the lego back into the box. They're all self destructing boxes these days. They don't reseal back up and when you open them, well, they're pretty much rooted. I'm going to try and get a large tackle type box that has a large single space insert tray you put in the top for the instruction booklets and just put all the sets I do have into ziplock bags (I've already done this though), and just store them all in there.

Ha ha, awesome. That x-wing is mega cool.

You could probably get a pretty good amount if you Ebay'd that futuron stuff you have there too. But I'd probably just hang onto it.

Lego was always a great deal of fun and I was a great forager in our large lego box for that rare piece me and my brother needed. Seeing so many sets that were part of our collection brings back many fond memories. I just regret being intimidated by my only technic lego, a motorcycle my brother ended up building.
