    I feel your pain.
As a kid I learnt so much to follow Lego instructions and to count everything.
As an adult... I still make the same mistakes.

EBGames have some half price stuff, so I got this for $9 today. Lego-compatable I guess you can say? One of my nephews will enjoy this.. I'm almost tempted to keep it myself!

Yea, I did so for the most part, just happened to miss critical piece while drunk. Have managed to see where it's wrong, even got a tiny screwdriver in there to push the connecting piece along a bit, worked for a few revs, but somehow I have a rod in there that's too short. Given how specifically everything else fit together, can't work out how I fucked that one up, but, I was pretty hammered by 4am :)

I'm thinking maybe the UCS Y Wing but there's a few other things I wouldn't mind.

I think I need to pack up some of my smaller models for the meantime.

That middle shelf with the bits and pieces needs to be decommissioned... lol

I don't like how I've got the Mack Truck set there... I wanted to have it all connected and loading. And I've still gotta find room for the 10258 set (London Double Decker). I don't think it'll sit too well next to the VW. Not to mention the Porsche GT3 which is partially boxed still because I didn't have anywhere to put it... #FWP

If they like lego they'll like it there, lots of stuff to do for them.

The UCS Y Wing is on my pile of shame waiting for more space to become available. The pile keeps growing too as I picked up the Hulkbuster Ironman. Not really my thing but my son has the UCS Helicarrier so it will go nicely with that once the display cabinet arrives.
I think you need another cabinet. The big problem there is likely to be where to put that cabinet though. This one isn't too large and not too expensive:

I do like that cabinet. Problem is if need at least 4 of them I think.

Room isn’t an issue. I’ve got plenty of space.

Do you guys follow Downunder Bricks on youtube? He's an aussie lad with a massive collection, and a cityscape going on. His city is looking great at the moment, very well planned.

Finally getting into my UCS Falcon!

Roughly half way after about 14 hours or so of build time so far. The size of this thing is bloody crazy and I'm hoping to finish it off before my wife gets home on Saturday evening, going be a couple of big days/nights of building to get it done.

That actually looks pretty trash? Like, are those sections going to be exposed? A lift lid sort of build? Cause yeah, doesn't look appealing at all.

    Trying so so hard! :D

But it was half sincere. The internals don't look overly appealing.

My UCS Falcon arrived yesterday. Going to be a long wait until I can build it.

Oh wow, are they UCS falcons actually available to buy now? As in, I can give someone money, and they give me a box with 8000 odd lego bricks? Or will I still be told to come back in 6 months?

All of those bits are covered. Have only just started the outside panels, only about half of the underside is done.

I’m only interested in the model for display so don’t really care about the interior sections or minifigs etc.

Fairly well available now. Lots of toy worlds and Myers have stock.

I got mine ~6 months ago, only just getting time to build it.

Time to build is a whole different thing. I still have my 911GT3 - I've started the engine. Then there is my UCS Tie Fighter, a bunch of AT-ST type stuff, Hulkbuster Iron Man, Saturn V... I really should get onto the Saturn V.
