There are unlikely to be many if any BL sellers trading more than $75,000 per annum to australians. And that's if they even cared about registering with the ATO. I doubt even bricksy is that internationally commercialised outside the EU.

My Voltron is still “Item Held by Customs”

I thought Lego had sorted this crap out after the fiasco with the UCS Y-Wings???

Have been in hospital for the last week so caught up on some little sets.
My 75885 Speed Champions Fiesta came with 2 bags of wheel covers, though the book only lists 1? Regular?

    Also,
My Voltron (delivered) and Crane (undelivered) both had broken tracking links and my usual workarounds didn't work for either.

Not sure if it's regular but my 75878 Speed Champions Chiron also had 2 bags of wheel covers :)

If you don't mind, could you please share the tracking for the order?

I ordered my Voltron on release day, shipped out on the 24th, arrived in Australia on the 31st and that's it, there's no further information on Lego's tracking site or Auspost

Mine arrived in Aus on the 26th, has been listed as Held In Customs until this morning. Has gone melb to sydney today so should be delivered tommorrow hopefully.

Have a look on the lego tracking site under "Shipment Summary" near the top of the page, mine had the status "Held in Customs" there.

Last update still shows the item has arrived in Sydney, but no message to say it's being held or processed by customs. It's been a week in limbo now.

At least with my previous MF order it said it was held by customs for about 1.5 weeks

So when 21311 Voltron arrived, I knew the 88000 AAA battery pack (to complete my RC conversion to 42077 Rally Car) was backordered but also had the new DUPLO 10872 train hill set "for the kids". Turns out I accidentially ordered 2. As a side note, the new DUPLO tracks are a lighter grey then the previous generation but otherwise totally compatible.
It's taken a week but 42082 All Terrain Crane has been dispatched.
But it turns out that today I was taking mum shopping and while wandering around Big W I saw they had stock of both 42080 Forest Machine and 10874 Steam Train at their usual below RRP. The new train is push to start now, instead of the button on the old one and has an optical pickup in the base that reacts to the new drop in track elements (stop, reverse, lights, horn, refuel). Both came home with me.

This was from a few months ago, using about 2/3 the track they had then.

Picked up these two bad boys on the recent ebay US 15% off sale. Got it for $128 combined pick up

    Future buy list during discounts:
    • UCS Y-Wing
    • Voltron
    • Ninjago Docks
    • Chiron (need a big discount to make this set viable - like $350)
Also bought the full harry potter minifig set for $140 including Percival. Ain't nobody got time for driving around/feeling packs.

I often wonder about these things and how many more actual sales LEGO would make if you could actually buy the one's you wanted. There must be plenty of people who would just go, "I will have one complete Collection X please," when because of the blind box I instead go, "I will have nothing at all please."

Yup, if I couldn't have the full set I wouldn't have bothered with any of the HP minifigs.

Although I don't collect/want the regular CMF series - I wouldn't mind just the policeman

Yeah, there aren't many that I would bother with. Really it would only be the original trilogy Star Wars ones but I am not going to get suckered into the random gamble of a bag.

I am sure that LEGO has forgotten more about sales and marketing than I will ever know and they are making a killing but I can't help but feel slightly annoyed when I see them in the shops.
