Got the Creator Mini for Christmas and loved it.
Then picked up a used combi van.
Yesterday got the DB5 and about 25% built.
    Mustang or Beetle next!

Anyone got their eyes on the Rough Terrain Crane? I've been watching it for a while and no one seems to have it in stock, even the Lego store. It's not even that old it can't be retiring soon.

Mrtoys has it. I'm debating getting it, but it's just so expensive right now.

Came out August last year and sets are generally available for 2 years. Being a flagship usually a bit longer, BWE is almost 3 years old and still available in retail, I'd expect to still see 42082 available until at least xmas 2020.
Need to find time to get some video of my dual Sbrick RTC, need to setup the app on an old phone so I can use mine to do the recording. Donations of a ~7-8" android tablet also accepted :)

Had some parts to finish my pop-up book mods arrive today.

In total I've; replaced some black parts with dark green; hinges, pin holes, spine window, replaced top plates with tiles, added a clasp like the JKBrickworks one. Maybe others I've forgotten?

The H2 catalogue is out too, includes new releases to land August onwards, check the link from Bricking Around.
Missing is the 42100 Liebherr R 9800, delayed till October aparently. Still shows hints at the new control+ parts and a new theme.

Also, BigWs big sale starts Thursday and Amazon appear to be matching the sale.

Look at this video for more info in the Liebherr and the 4x4 It shows the new parts and the controls which are unfortunately over mobile.
Yeah exactly, which is why it's strange it's never in stock anymore.
I've never seen the 42098 car transporter or 42097 compact crawler crane before! They look awesome. The car transporter is a great idea for displaying some of the smaller cars so hopefully it fits a certain scale

I got one for $300 back in the day from BigW. Still in the pile of shame though

I'm scared to see what the price of the Liebherr will be....

I also got the Lego Technic 6x6 for $220 shipped from Frontline Hobbies ages ago. Took a while for them to fulfil the order but eventually it shipped. Again pile of shame :(

I've seen prices of $750 tossed around for this one, which is scary. I'm pretty keen but that's a fair whack.

Wouldn't surprise me after seeing such expensive sets on the market like UCS Falcon, Disney Castle, Hogwarts Castle etc.... but this would set a new record for a technic set.

They've already positioned the Bugatti as premium technic, so there are buyers out there for it.

    hadn't seen that, cheers.
Same scale as the 42093 Corvette I recall being mentioned back in Feb.
Using "current" stuff, 3 XL motors, 4 L motors and 2 SBricks runs ~$310 AUD so $750 is starting to seem reasonable.
Finished the Lunar Lander tonight, reasonable set.

I saw it at Myer in Adelaide when I was down there recently for work so maybe try their online store?

Ah ok thanks. I saw it in Myer on the weekend for 30 or 40% off or something, but that only took it down to the same price as everywhere online.

I didn't look at the price sorry. I think it is cool but I have a big enough Lego pile of shame right now while I sort out some glass display cabinets.

So my kid is into the Star wars Lego (even though he hasn't seen a single movie, tv show). What's the best bang for buck set in terms of the main figurines?

The only place you can really get the minifigs individually is eBay or other after market places. The 20th Anniversary sets have a good collection of the main character figures in them along with one that has a few stormtroppers. Another option is the microfighters as they are not that expensive and usually have one minifig in each set that is a character.
