No one wants to buy my GT3. I'm asking $750 which I think is perfectly reasonable. It's been fully disassembled and comes in the box. Stickers haven't even been used. Might have to try my luck with the Volvo articulated dump truck or the rough terrain crane. I do have some old sets which would easily fund the shuttle which I could always flog.

I checked my local FB marketplace/lego trade groups to compare. 5 NIB between 750 and 900, the 750 hasn't sold in over a week.
Volvo was $149 at BigW last fortnight, to set a price expectation.

Spewing I didn't pick one up form BigW when they were sub $300! I've got a few decent sets to get rid of one day...

Yeah I've seen that too. Bloody good price for what you get so I'll sit on it until it's discontinued.
Probably my one. Might adjust to $700 but I've seen people advertise used for way more.

I got my GT3 at BigW when they were $299, and people couldn't believe Lego was "so expensive".
Finally got around to building my F40 weekend just gone. I suppose it's ok, the printed parts were nicely done, just sitting on the shelf with the rest of the CE cars.

Nah just WA listings, and those were New In Box. Maybe list on some Lego buy/sell groups instead of marketplace?

Managed to get my Ulysses space probe today despite LEGO best attempt at not launching it. A shame my Space shuttle seems to have been lost by Toll.

The 911 is better than the later official sets, but nothing on my Mclaren.
A lot of the sales are people who've found the 1:8 supercars, or lego in general, since the lockdowns last year and have either completionism or fomo.

What? It's a great kit. The gearbox is genius and it looks cool. Had lots of comments on it

Scania was nice, generally made sense, steering mech was clever. I saw a super cheap deal on a used car transporter, didn't even look at the set instructions.

This was the tits back in the day!
I've still got my https://brickset.com/article/29305/throwback-thursday-1992-8868-air-tech-claw-rig mostly built. I should finish it and flog it off.
Brett Very nice truck builds. I bought an unbuilt but in pieces flatbed truck off Facebook for like $100 a couple years ago but never built it. Ended up selling it as a lot with Bucket Wheel and Mack Anthem at the start of Covid for way less than I could have got.
