There's a train set hidden in there :)
    Love it

DAMN seeing that supercar II (8448) now I want to buy it!
I've stopped buying lego for ages now, think last time i bought something was when I was around 14~15 years old, when they starting doing robotics insteads of pure lego which disappointed me greatly and I lost interest because everything became pre-packaged and not build it yourself.

Seriously the other day I was in Hobbyco and held the box for the Ferrari Enzo I felt like a kid again, there was just this giant smile on my face... but the $200 price tag... I couldn't do it :(

But I wouldn't mind owning that red supercar to match my black one!

Can anyone tell me where I could buy it NEW? I don't want pre-loved...

Did anyone have the star destroyer, or go to those lego exibitions that they would have occasionally? I think I saw one about 10 years ago in melbourne central (where they now have the hoyts cinema).

man i looved lego, i htink i may go and rebuild one of my sets now :p
I had the hole collection of the robo riders, the ones that were like bionic, that came in the cylnders.

my first lego kit was an aeroplane, but unfortunately i tried to build it last night and the many years of 'kit bashing' has lost many of the pieces:upset:

I'm super tempted to get one of the large Ferrari sets, either the Enzo or the F1 car. I'm just wondering which set is more detailed?

    Ah, the largest F1.

I'd probably still go the enzo between those two, but since they're within 100 bricks of each other, Just go for whatever style you like the best. (Enzo). :D

    aah lego

i think over the years i got about 15-16 sets (but never any of the huge big ones) for b'days and stuff, and i got the instructions and boxes for probably 13 of them. my favourites were the space ones (blacktrons v mtrons, and space police!) and the knight ones

i was gonna pack them all up and sell them off, but its a real nostalgic feel about them. the worlds you can create when you were a kid, you know your racing car driver fighting the knight with a four-pen ink (yes they fit in their hand perfectly!), using the space antennas as light sabres or battling your TMNTs.

i could probably get about 250-300 on my lego from what ive seen on ebay, its all sitting under my bed gathering dust, but its hard to part with it :(

For all you with huge lego collections, check this out.

On a side note, anyone here in RCJA? What do you think of the new NXTs? Personally I'm going to stick with the RCX after testing the NXT. Its just too slow to be competitive.

Well I bought the F1 Car(http://www.peeron.com/inv/sets/8674-1) @ Target, who had 20% off Lego.

Built it last night, it took me from 5:30 'til 2am, lots of fun. The final model is huge, over 60cm long, very intricate and detailed. It's a really nice display piece.

I still have a massive box full of all my old lego bricks.

    Some of my favorites are

    Dragon castle (Black and Grey)
Pirates I had one of the treasure islands but always wanted the ship....
The snow ship that pulled apart into about 3 different ships

I had several small forts and a multitude of many different colored bricks I loved playing with my lego as a kid and would have loved to have worked at lego but never got the chance. I still have one of the books on the history of lego that I think was published back in the 80s and also contained instructions at the back for several different vehicles.

    Awesome.

The largest set I have is the creator "house" set. You might have seen it at target, it's got the large white house on the front.

    http://shop.lego.com/Product/?p=4956

It's very old school "town" style, and the best part is it's the absolute PERFECT scale for the tiny turbos that I have (I have the entire 2006 range of them). Example of one:

Anyway, what was I getting at? Oh yea, that one also took me the better part of an afternoon just to put one of the house models together. I love how these things can just suck the time up. :)

I really want to get some of the large technic sets though and put those together. I noticed a couple at myer that I might look into next week. :)

So far all the technic I have is the smaller types. The largest one I have is the telehandler.

Also on Monday I bought from BigW:

I put the quad together on tuesday, it was fun :) and I plan on doing the wheel loader tomorrow.
